2025 PowerHockey Cup Results

The Michigan Mustangs made an impressive run at the 2025 PowerHockey Cup, finishing with the silver medal for the fourth time in team history.

In round-robin play, the Mustangs battled hard, dropping their opener 10-3 to Philadelphia PowerPlay Black before bouncing back in dominant fashion—defeating Philadelphia PowerPlay Orange 10-1, PowerHockey Ottawa 11-0, and the Toronto Toros 11-1.

Carrying that momentum into the semifinals, Michigan once again overpowered Toronto with a 10-3 victory to advance to the championship.

In a dramatic final against Philadelphia Black, the Mustangs held a 4-2 lead with just seven minutes remaining, but ultimately fell 6-4 in a heartbreaking finish.

Despite the tough loss, the Mustangs earned major recognition: Captain and goaltender Dean Olivas was named Goaltender of the Tournament, while forward Kevin Konfara received Offensive Player of the Tournament honors.
