2025-26 Week Five Results

Week 5 was a wild one — the Knights outlasted the Thunderbirds in a 12–11 shootout that had both benches gasping by the final buzzer. The Knights jumped out early behind a flurry from Anthony Theuer, who buried five goals and added a couple assists. Marty Witberg chipped in a hat trick and rookie Michael Crider grabbed one too, while Jeff Fleshner and Tei Cools rounded out the attack.

The Thunderbirds answered right back though — Tristan Parent went absolutely nuclear in the third, scoring six of his nine goals in a late surge that nearly flipped the script. Jeff Fleshner added a pair and goalie Kevin Richter kept them close with several strong saves, but Brendan Nienhaus stood tall down the stretch while Ron Woodring’s gritty shot blocks and defensive effort sealed the Knights’ second win of the season.
